Biggles replied to Amanda's discussion Dish tv
"If it was working before the reset then most likely the LNB frequency in the setup menu is incorrect. It probably doesn't match your LNB. If 10750 doesn't work try 11300. Before doing a factory reset it's always a good idea to check…"

Biggles replied to Matt Dickinson's discussion Setting up freeview
"Check your signal strength/quality. If you are only receiving the TVNZ MUX and no others then you probably have an antenna/cabling problem and the other MUX are below the minimum signal strength required for reception. TVNZ MUX is probably just…"

"You can. Just find the setting in the menu that allows you to alter the lead-in and over-run times for recording. All Freeview Recorders I've seen start 1 min early and end 5 mins late by default and the setting can be changed. If that…"

Biggles replied to Sayan Ghosh's discussion Freeview with TV purchased overseas

Biggles replied to michelle vincent's discussion strong brand free view set up gone wrong
"I presume you mean random Sky channels? If so it would appear that you have the correct LNB Freq set but the LNB may be failing or the dish is slightly misaligned. Probably time to get in a pro with the appropriate gear to check everything?."

Biggles replied to michelle vincent's discussion strong brand free view set up gone wrong
"Your LNB on the dish at your new place may have a different freq. In the setup if 10750 doesn't work try 11300. What are the random channels you are getting as it's also possible the dish is pointing at the wrong satellite? If your box was…"

I couldn't do an autotune on the T2200 cos I had no service! Anyway I just whizzed out and bought an HDMI lead and it worked. The guy at Noel Leeming told me none of the FreeviewPlus-approved recorders come with HDMI cables, which is a bit rich when they sell for $400 upwards. Thanks for your help.

Thanks Biggles. So why does the Aerial Box come with AV leads and no HDMI cable?
