Exciting! to add to an incredible lineup of satellite receivers :)

I have a my sky set up with a smart no built in freeveiw  TV. I wish to add freeveiw is this the best box for me , will I also require an Arial

Roy going by what Biggles and Josh have posted this new device is made for Satellite viewing purposes

Why do you need to add Freeview? You already receive all the Freeview Channels (except maybe some of the Chinese and Regional channels) on your MySky setup.

If however you want another Recorder that receives all the Satellite Freeview Channels (including the odd few not on Sky) then this new box is ideal. Just connect it to the existing Satellite Dish. It won't work with a UHF aerial.

Although sky supply a mysky box they charge $10/month for hd and another $15/month to enable recoeding

And they wonder why they are haemorrhaging customers?
