Hey all,

I bought a Samsung Hybrid TV over the weekend with the intention of ditching the Vodafobe T-Box and switching to Freeview Sat. I don't have an aerial but I do have the dish. With the T-Box, I can get every single channel without any issue but when I unplug the dish cable and plug it into the TV, it can't find any signal whatsoever.

I'm really stumped on this. I have found older threads that recommended changing the settings but nothing I have tried has registered ANY signal at all. However, plug it back into the T-box and everything works just fine. The LNB is one of the Sky quad ones like this:

TV = Samsung UA55KU7000SXNZ

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Make sure the LNB settings on the TV are set to 10750. they usually default to 11300

The Vodafone box is not connected to the dish

Thats why i said make sure the LNB settings are correct on the hybrid TV. I take it you have the dish connected to the satellite input on the TV

You can change your LNB settings to 10750 here

I think this is what I just realised! Vodafone signals comes via cable. I will trya nd figure out where the lead from the dish is going

He is connecting the cable from the Vodafone network to his Tv, not the dish

Ok, got this sorted. After switching to the correct dish cable, I found at dodgy connection at the LNB. Now has great pictures - Thanks for all the advice
