Live in west Auckland. I woke yesterday morning to find channel 2 had gone. I found something on your forums regarding topfeild which is the unit I have. I thought the post was telling me how to rescan the channels, but it was all about prime. Now I can only get prime. No ohter channels like 1/2/3/4/5etc.....

I have to set all the LNB/frequency/symbol rate etc alll back again. How do I do this.

Can I get help with manual installation for

Frequency -

Symbol Rate -

Polarzation -

Modulation -

‘Sharp’ Sky Dual LNB – 10750 L.O. (I think, looks like it.

and or anything else I should know. I did a factory reset, but can't find any channels

Should I be using this guide to try and find channels?

The reason why I lost all channels was because I followed this guide and kept getting prime channels/animal channel etc....

--------Solved--------

although I got duplicate channels, I found out I could rearrange the order. Whew.... so much googling these last couple of days.

Hi, I have the same problem and are based in Tauranga.

Sorry following the thread is a bit hard to follow - could you confirm what you did to acutally solve the issues?

I wanna watch shortland st!

I don't have an "approved" unit Sarah. My DTSV remote got lost/broken....  I got a Topfield and had to enter my own codes manually from here....http://freeviewforum.co.nz/forum/topics/new-satellite-program-groups  Not like the DTSV which does it auto for you.

My question to freeview, is ...why is topfield not an approved unit???

Hi Guys,

It looks like some of you have received a SKY feed of TV2 and not Freeview's own TV2 feed. apparently SKY made some broadcast changes which has had minor effects on their own customers however I cannot confirm if this has applied to Freeview non-approved viewers (Freeview viewers who are using non-approved equipment)

If you have lost only one or two channels, I suggest rescanning the receiver or making a blind scan to pick up lost channels , the rescanned channels may appear on the bottom of your channel list, not on the correct EPG Allocation.
