I have a Satmax Plus S1600 Digital Satelite Receiver/Decoder and cannot access the setup as it has a password which I do not know.

Can anyone please advise the default password for this unit and/or suggest how to do a factory default reset - without the password ?

Thank you

I wonder if a factory reset would help as you don't normally need a password for intiial setup and tuning.
