Hi there,

We have two TV's in our house with two separate Freeview boxes, one for us and one for my grandmother. Both of these are connected to a satellite dish above our house. Recently our Freeview remote broke, so we replaced our old box with the 'satBox s7070r'.

Before we replaced our box, everything worked fine. Now, every time my grandmother changes the channel on her TV, our TV "glitches" for a second.

Is there a way to fix this? If it can't be fixed, then why did it work before?

Hi Dominic

Both Freeview boxes may be powering the LNB , try turning off the power sent from the S7070r and see if that helps.

Menu / Installation / Tuning Wizard / Password (0000) / Satellite Scan

Press  Yellow Button  and select LNB Setup

Turn Power to OFF

If this doesn't make a difference to reception issue turn back on.

What is the make and model of the other freeview box ?

note the second receiver must be set to power the LNB even when turned off or the S7070r will have no signal.

The other box is the DVB-S86. I tried what you suggested, but the S7070r TV still glitched when the DVB-S86 TV changed channels. This must have something to do with the S7070r because this only happened when we started using it.
