Lost or Weak Signals on Channels 16 & 36

For some unknown reason I lost Al Jazeera on FreeviewHD Channel 16. Also lost or very weak signal on Channel 36. All other channels working fine. Any ideas what might be the reason for this? My aerial is pointing to Pine Hill/Browns Bay (Auckland) transmitter.

Hi Ratan, Al Jazeera (ch 16) & Apna Television (36) are both on the K2 multiplex (see here: http://freeviewforum.co.nz/tip/mux#K2MUX).

Typically distortion on one MUX points to issues with your antenna, splitter / connectors, or set up.

Try reconnecting cables and retuning if you haven't already (see retune guidelines here: http://freeviewforum.co.nz/page/retune)

If you've recently connected any 3rd party devices to your TV or receiver, try disconnecting those (see retune troubleshooting guidelines for more info: http://storage.ning.com/topology/rest/1.0/file/get/137723946?profil...)

The other guys here might have some advice for you too if you still get no joy after that.
