Remote for TWH - S1

Hi all, info required please :) My dad has a Transonic TWH-S1, seems to be real slow from the pushing of buttons 1/2/3. Most others seem ok but a huge delay on the pushing of the button to the actual change on the set??

Has put new batteries in, no diff. Tried up close, no diff. Thinking he may need a new remote so are these readily available, or any other suggestions would be great please.

The fact that the channels are changing, albeit very slowly, would indicate the remote is actually working OK and the problem more likely is with the box.

A factory reset and/or firmware upgrade may help.

Otherwise take it back where it was bought and ask for help. They should be able to fix or replace the remote and/or the box either under warranty or the CGA if the warranty has expired.

The transonic TWH-S1 are no longer sold by the Wharehouse as they took them off the market around Feb this year

Give it a go at returning the unit back, they may give you a refund or change to the Veon receiver they now stock in stores.

One more thing before we take it back, as they live elsewhere & im seeing them on the weekend is the factory reset easy enough to do, as in follow on screen instructions or a bit more involved??
