Hi Folks Last night my picture disappeared. I have a message on screen saying"No channel found.P;ease check aerial or local signal availability. Please scan Channel by TV menu".
I did that, but nothing changed. I cannot access the Menu on the Hills Box, just keep getting the message on the TV screen (panasonic)
Help please?

Sounds like you have selected TV instead of the appropriate input for the Hills box. Confirm you have the correct input selected on your TV?

Not sure what you mean by "the appropriate input for the Hills Box". No options on the Hills remote give any result. Other than the two remotes, I have not altered anything on the TV or the Box-the picture just disappeared last night.
The TV remote allows the TV Menu to display, but then insists everything is OK.

OK.
How have you connected the Hills box to the TV?
If it's via an HDMI cable then make sure your TV is set to the HDMI input and not to TV. You should be able to see the Hills box Menu if you have selected the correct input on the TV.
Hi Tricia, Is your Hills receiver switched on and connected properly to your Panasonic TV? And did you follow these instructions for your Hills receiver when rescanning?
Hi People
Thanks for your replies.
My TV and Free toAir Hills box have been operating fine for many months-I have not changed any settings, cables, whatever. I was watching TV fine last night, when the picture just disappeared, and then the message (as above) came up. The only things I have touched , have been the two remotes.
I think the issue is with the TV , as I cannot get the Hills Remote to bring up the Hills menu. I CAN bring up the TV menu .
Sounds like a TV problem. Are you still able to select inputs such as TV, HDMI, AV1, AV2 etc with the TV remote? What is the model of the TV? If you can't see the Menu of the Hills box but can see the TV menu then it indicates the wrong input is selected on the TV.
Biggles , you're a genius. I found 2 buttons for TV and AV . I clicked AV and found it was set on TV. Altered it to AV 1 and have my picture back Still cant figure how it went wrong to start with as I did not even have the remote in hand when the pic was lost, but your kindness has saved me the cost of a techie's visit, just to press a button. Please put on the"I have been a helpful boy today" cap, and help yourself to a jelly bean. Much appreciated, by this ol gal. Cheers.
