in heavy rain channel one and two cut out but channel three keeps working. Why does this happen? Any help much appreciated. Thanks

Hi Eleanor, 

This is usually due to the frequencies used on the satellite, however this could also be related to the age of your equipment, overtime the LNB which is the little machine on the front of your dish will age and cause issues when weather seems to play it's part, the age of the device affects the signals. It might be best to get a local installer to have a look and see if the LNB needs a slight adjustment so that channels do not drop out in the event weather comes.
