Hi,

This problem only affecting satellite service.  Haven't actually had the opportunity to rescan a non approved decoder yet.  But all the official freeview decoders I'v been retuning aren't picking up Four+1.  Is it actually there yet?

Also had 3 people so far, with Prime just randomly vanished.  Have retuned them fine but wondering if many other people (installers) Have stuck same problem?

TV3 was supposed to move to 12644 at the end of June but seems to still be working on 12456.

Have emailed Tim Diprose at freeview but awaiting a reply from Wednesday.

Cheers

Tony

Hi Tony, no FOUR plus 1 is only available on FREEVIEW|HD at the moment, it'll start its FREEVIEW SATELLITE service next week (likely Thursday).

See http://www.freeviewnz.tv/tv-guide/freeview-channels.aspx

a tv 3 is still on 12644 with the edge

presume that tv 3 will change to 4 +1 ?

One of the emails from Tim Diprose says that TV3 on 12456 will shut down:

"Please note Mediaworks will be shutting down the TV3 Auckland feed on Optus D1 12456H and Freeview will update the BAT to point approved devices to the new Sky TP.

NZ15 Lower (12644MHz H-Pol).

Service ID – 1033"

Unless hes just talking about one of the Duplicate TV3's.  Didn't specify PID's so I just assumed he meant the whole transponder.  Upon reflection, I guess hes just talking about one of the Duplicate versions of TV3.

He also said:

"

Changes that will be done on 1am 26 June

  • TV3 Auckland Kordia feed will be removed
  • Freeview BAT will point to Sky TP
  • Edge TV will launch on ch9 on both satellite and terrestrial
  • C4 will close
  • FOUR + 1 will launch on ch 11 on both satellite and terrestrial

Guess I'll just have to wait and see

You're right Willis. That is the plan. The tv3 services on 12456 will all stay there.

Hi Guys

I would like to clarify the Four+1 Status.

The broadcaster (Mediaworks) had last minute changes to the way their services will broadcast on Satellite, the removal of TV3 Auckland on the Kordia Transponder has been scrapped and this was made before The Edge TV launched.

Four+1 on DTH will be on the SKY TP of 12644H22500 (Same as The Edge TV) with the Kordia TP being left untouched.

Four+1 will launch officially on Channel 9 on both services.

Cheers

Joshua

how come no epg on 4+1 on hd service?

and all 4 tv 3 on 12456 are specified auckland, waikato, wellington, christchurch so cant be touched

There is no EPG data because Four Plus1 is currently being tested by the broadcaster in prep for its full launch alongside the satellite "Four +1"

Cheers
Josh

See 4+1 now on satellite

I am getting reports that FOUR Plus 1 is on Satellite now for unapproved receivers, Mine hasn't popped up yet (DTVS-1B)

Joshua

Four PLUS1 on 12644H22500   VPID 1003   APID 1103  SID 1033

This replaced the TV 3 Auckland feed (SKY) that all standard SKY Boxes were directed to (SKY has now set their boxes to point to the TV3 Auckland service on the Freeview Transponder)

TV2 now remains the only channel duplicated on different transponders
