"point your remote at a digital camera and if it's working you will see a red glow. if it is working it probably means there's a fault with the ir reader in your sat box"

Remote not working

I have a satbox ultra s7090vpr when I came home on Monday my remote wasn't working. I changed the batteries still not working switched off at wall for a few minutes still not working. Purchased new remote did software update new remote not working. Any one got any ideas on our I can solve this problem.
