"How are you connected to the network? Wirelessly or Ethernet cable. What do you call a strong signal? What's your network speed? Where are you measuring your signal from? What sort of connection have you got now?"

Satellite Networks Motueka replied to Michelle Bottles's discussion Remote not working
"point your remote at a  digital camera and if it's working you will see a red glow. if it is working it probably means there's a fault with the ir reader in your sat box"

Satellite Networks Motueka replied to Parmod Kankarwal's discussion Hi, I am in rolleston, tried many times starting freeview channel by Veon sat 101 box to connect to my Sony tv, but everytime this said no signal, 0 coverage, I have both UHF and skydish
"Firstly you'll need to use your sky dish on a sat box, UHF won't work. If you've scanned and still have no channels there's got to be something faulty and you will have to go through the process of elimination."

Satellite Networks Motueka replied to Maxine Strachan's discussion Tv1 on Demand and freeview pausing all the time
"I hope thats 103 Mbps. If it is that should be fine. Have you tried doing an update or even just rebooting the tv."

Satellite Networks Motueka replied to Maxine Strachan's discussion Tv1 on Demand and freeview pausing all the time
"I would still check your bandwidth. Netflix and lightbox use a much better compression than on-demand so it will stream way better."

Satellite Networks Motueka replied to Kim's discussion No TV3 channels via built in Freeview
"Sounds like your LNB settings may be wrong. Try changing the local oscillator settings from 11300 to 10750 or vice-versa.  The best option though would be to do a factory reset then find your LNB settings and autotune Freeview from there. "

Satellite Networks Motueka replied to Kim's discussion No TV3 channels via built in Freeview
"Mostly built-in Freeview works of a UHF aerial. Unless the tv has a built-in satellite tuner you will need to use a UHF aerial. If you used a push-in plug that will be UHF. If you used a screw-in plug on the TV there may be issues with the satellite…"

Satellite Networks Motueka replied to Rachel's discussion Freeview App Samsung 2016 TV - tries to load and then blank screen !
"Good luck getting that sorted. The TV manufacturers won't support a TV that is older than 2 years, for the simple fact that they want you to buy a new one.  This is why I always suggest to my clients not to bother with a smart tv. Instead,…"
