Freeview App Samsung 2016 TV - tries to load and then blank screen !
This has been an issue since 31/10 .
It will only work if you reset your smart hub on your tv - login again to FreeView! If you leave the app or turn the tv, you will have to reset the smart hub again and login in again to freeview- and all your other apps ( Netflix , Lightbox etc)
3 x times to Samsung support and numerous times to Freeview - both say it is each other’s issue!!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck getting that sorted. The TV manufacturers won't support a TV that is older than 2 years, for the simple fact that they want you to buy a new one.  This is why I always suggest to my clients not to bother with a smart tv. Instead, use a smart device such as an Android TV or Apple TV which will be fully supported.

We have Apple TV - but can not get FREEVIEW app on it - or if i can can you let me know :)

Cant you get Freeview through satellite or terrestrial? The app is not very popular as Prime and others haven't come on board yet.

Hi Rachel

Freeview does not have an app for Apple TV. If you want live streaming you can download the TVNZ Ondemand and 3NOW App to give you ondemand and streaming for those shows.
