Hi new member here looking for some help please if you can.

A couple of weeks ago I purchased an A2 box and began running from my terrestrial UHF areal which previously had been delivering nice clear stable issue free hd signal to my 4k panel.

When watching live tv through the A2 we are experiencing fairly regular annoying digital pixellation to the picture. Can be a small white band, can be up to half the screen and colourful, will also occasionally give an audio splat as well.

When watching recorded programmes it'is even worse leaving the content almost unwatchable. The video is constantly slowing down freezing or skipping for a few seconds, before it will pop back into sync with the audio.

So really not happy with it at the moment. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Wondering if I should take it back to my retailer as faulty or if I can sort it myself.

return it

I agree.

Return it and get a Panasonic. IMHO DishTV units appear to be fairly unreliable.

Contact the supplier you purchased this from and see what options they can provide you,

You are covered under warranty under their terms and conditions if a unit is faulty and that the warranty is valid.

Hi all, just updating this.

When I contacted Freeview Support they said to try installing a Bandpass Filter to clean up the signal. I did this and it has worked a treat. Very happy with the picture quality now.
