That doesn't help my situation.  I have a Panasonic TH-55DX640Z TV  receiving Freeview UHF.

Success with my Panasonic BWT720 following my manual retune for Maori and Te Reo.

I went into the setup menu and successfully swapped Ch804 with Ch5 and Ch805 with Ch15 in the Channel List and I now have Maori and Te Reo saved in their correct channels.

So if you have a Panasonic Recorder then to get Maori TV and Te Reo working in the correct channel slots try the following -

Manually tune Ch38 or 39 depending on your location.

In Setup go into Channel list and swap Ch804 with Ch5, and Ch805 with Ch15.

Recording options should now work OK from the EPG

The FW obviously won't do it automatically until such time as a new update is released to fix the problem which I guess is unlikely.

OK. After a manual tune ch38 or 39 have you checked channels above 800 to see if they are saved and stored there? A quick look at your TV's manual suggests the same procedure as for the Recorder should work.

Channels 800 and up doesnt help in my situation for manual tuning I have a LG and have UHF aerial and the manual tuning only go up to channel 69.

Please learn the difference between the allocated UHF frequencies and associated channel number (UHF band spans 470 to 806 MHz and assigned channel numbers E21 through E69) and the logical channel number (LCN). Example., TVNZ2 is transmitted on E34 from Sugarloaf and has an LCN of 2.

Still doesn't help, still can't get Maori channels

Kia ora Maraea.  Not sure if this will help with your problem but I'll post it up anyway in the hope that it does help.

I had the same problem with my TV and Freeview Box i.e. I lost both Maori TV channels.  My TV is a Samsung Aquos Quattron and my Freeview Box is an Aerial Box T2200.  On the weekend I followed the instructions on the freeview website to retune my Freeview Box (I tried auto tune, manual tune, factory reset) but after several attempts I still couldn't get the Maori TV channels.  Then I tried again tonight and EUREKA! both Maori TV channels came up on Ch.5 (MTV) and Ch.15 (Te Reo).

Btw, I also live in Rotorua.  Something's going on here.

Kia Ora Kanapu, Thanks I had tried doing all of that every day nearly, and my husband was going to get up on the roof this weekend to turn the Aerial, but after reading your post this morning I thought why not try again and what do you know.....IT WORKED :-)
Not sure whats going on in Rotorua.

I too can confirm that my TV s now receiving both MTS channels.  Obviously someone did a MTS/Freeview reconfig tweak overnight.   Thanks to whoever.

Someone must have looked into it after several people from the same area had the same problem. Happy now

Yay!! : )

I had to retune my Landlady's Veon TV today as she had the same problem here on Waiheke by not receiving both Maori TV and Te Reo . After a full retune they both came back on line .
