Have you tried a cold reboot. i.e. Unplug it at the wall for at least 30 secs then plug in and turn on gain. Might clear any temporary glitches.

Unfortunately have tried this and still the same, have also tried resetting to factory settings and stored settings also without success, thanks for your reply,it may be a fault with the box.

Have you tried removing batteries from the remote and then turning the unit off and then on operating it from the box itself and the see what happens as the remote may have a stuck button

may have forgotton it has any channels,could try re scanning after you reset the dish/antenna setup
