epg not loading on Panasonic TH 32CS600Z

Hi I am trying to help a friend figure out why the above free view approved tv will no longer load the the epg, it just displays "loading", I have tried powering it off, but not a factory reset...yet, any tips would most appreciated, regards Mark

How long are you waiting for the EPG to try and load?

I find that the loading time can vary considerably. On my Sony TV and Panasonic Recorder it can sometimes take up to a couple of minutes to load and other times is almost instant. Time taken to load seems totally random but it does load OK eventually if I wait long enough.

Hi biggles,i under stand the epg originally loaded quickly, gradually took longer until about 6 months ago it just sat there saying loading, I've personally tried powering off overnight and waiting 15 minutes for it to load...everything else seems fine including prime without a RE tune, regards Mark
