I have a Mitsubishi TV and although I have tried resetting the scan doesn't give me PRIME.
I live in Motueka and have tried AUCKLAND, WELLINGTON WEST COAST and ALL FREE CHANNELS.
What am I doing wrong?

Basil If you only have Optus D1/D2 /D3/ C1 then you aren't doing the Reset Factory Default first.
You cant just do half of the instructions.

I tried again but no success. I now have only Optus D1 D2 D3 C1 and New Satellite options.
No Prime, Four Plus 1 or Edge in my list.

Ok I am sure that I have followed those instructions correctly. Now when I use my EPG button and scroll I find The Edge, Four plus 1 and The Edge. However if I hit enter nothing happens. If i scroll to ONE and hit enter it opens that channel

The EPG will always show Prime / Four plus 1 & the edge.
If you don't see prime when you press the list button then you still haven't cracked it yet.
Did you watch the video ?
I just watched it now. I am pretty sure I followed all the instructions but I certainly don't get Prime etc when I hit LIST

Maybe you need someone else to try doing it for you , maybe you are making the same mistake over and over and don't realise it .
You could buy a replacement box for $95.00
Thanks Paul. I will get someone to sit with me and go through the process again.
Cheers

I don't know if this will help but I spent over an hour on the phone with a customer today trying to add the channels on a ZMX 7500 without success until I found the LNB was so far off frequency that I had to set it to 10742 before I could add the 3 channels. In the past using 10745 has always been sufficient for an aging LNB
Paul I printed out your instructions and methodically went through them today and now I have all the channels available including PRIME etc. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your perseverance.

Thanks Graham. I am unsure why but today it all worked. Cheers.

That's Fantastic Basil , You got there in the end.
It's always more satisfying to do it your self.
Cheers Paul

this gives me hope, as i have exactly same prob as basil. wots the trick basil?
I swear that I had been following the instructions exactly the 10 times I tried. My only theory is that it was a signal strength issue. The only time I tried during the day it worked.
