This morning our Freeview set had automatically reset for daylight saying, by putting the time back an hour.

But at some point during the day it has gone back to the old time. Now I can't record anything this evening, as it's got itself totally confused. Help. Going to have upset kids if I can't record Our First Home.

This has been solved, see the answer

I'm glad that I'm not the only one with this problem.  All of my favorite programs are going to recorded at the wrong time. This is very annoying.  If there is are answer to this problem,  would be nice to know how to fix it.

--ANSWER--

I seem to remember this happened last year too at the end of daylight Saving but only with certain brands of box. I don't remember what the fix was but turning off the power at the wall and back on again may help reset the clock. The time code is embedded in the TV transmission but for some reason doesn't seem to reset the clock on some boxes at the end of Daylight Saving Time. Panasonic Recorders seem to be unaffected by the problem as mine is recording OK today at the correct times.

Hi Guys,

Please try the tip Biggles have suggested and switch off / on the unit and see if the clock is set to the correct time. I'll also have a chat to the Zygo team to see if there are any updates in relation to this.

Josh

Hi everyone, I have just done as suggested. And it has worked, I now have the correct time and can now record my favorites shows again. Thanks for the tip Biggles.
