For ages now I have had issues recording Prime and any other channel at the same time,
the Prime recording is always pixulated and the other channel one is fine, I have deleted and reinstalled the Prime channel, but still no better, all there channels do not have this conflict, only Prime,
would love some help with this
thanks

Hi Gary
Please have a look at the link willis has posted, does this help with the recording issues?
Cheers
Thanks for feedback
I have a Vu Duo abut its running latest Vix not Pli, the link that Willis posted is about playing back a recorded program, mine is about recording the program, issues seemed to happen when prime went to Sky transponder. I never used to record Prime much at all but now they are getting some better programs its a bit frustrating to see a pixelated screen.
cheers
Have you checked signal strength on Prime and compared to other channels?
If strength is down the LNB may need replacing or alignment checked.
if fine when doing prime itself, can do 2 and 3 no issues, but as soon as prime and one another its happens, same for parents one, I am in palmy they are in coromandal but will check the strength
It still might be a issue with the LNB or Satellite Dish, when different channels are recording they operate on different frequencies so this will affect the reception of Prime.
The Satellite Toolkit may be of added use to you for tips/tricks and other information here
I have just checked this, TV1+2 are at 75% 3+4 are 73% and prime is at 79%
That would indicate the problem is probably confined to your particular Brand of recorder although I would expect strengths of 100% with a dish and LNB in top condition. A new LNB may help but can't be guaranteed to help.
can you specify t1 or t2 through the timer record page and record to either usb stick or hdd to narrow things down a bit
any help from peter & dave satlink?
Not That I am aware of to specify T1 or T2, all I can see id a conflict with ether TV1,2 or 3 when recording prime, Prime by itself is fine
thanks
