Yes, it does have 2 tuners and you can watch a 3rd channel while recording two others but not unless the 3rd channel is on the same mux as those being recorded.

This from the brochure

"Record two channels while watching a third or a prerecorded program (some channel combinations not available)"

NB the wording in the brackets!

i.e. you can probably record Prime and TV3 but not be able to watch TV1. You could only watch channels on the same mux as TV3 or Prime. Read the manual for more info. You would need to research which channels are on each mux on the satellite to find out what combinations will work.

Hi William, Biggles is right,
Because of the new way Prime is broadcast on Freeview Satellite, the tuners on the Myfreeview units may behave differently when recording programmes because of the different frequencies the tuners can handle.

I hope this helps
Kind Regards

Joshua
Thanks everyone

Hi I have just realise that Prime is on its own frequency so I should have been able to watch TVone at the same time I was recording Prime
But why did I get Parliamrnt instead of one ?

Hi William

Can you explain in more detail the appearance of Parliament TV?

Can you access any other channels other than Parliament when this record happens?

Kind Regards
Joshua

Hi Joshua
When I pressed one for TVone I got parliament channel
I could get all other channels even tv plus one
Regards Bill

Hi Bill (William)

OK, this is unusual. I might get you to follow these instructions which might determine why TV One has skipped to Parliament TV,

1. Press Menu on your remote
2. Select User Settings on the menu
3. Select Organiser

Now, on the list of channels which appear to the right, can you see if can spot any icons or symbols next to TV One under the Skip header?

If there is an icon on TV One, this might mean that the Unit has been told to skip the channel, you can remove this by pressing the Green button on the remote until the icon has gone.

IF THERE IS NOTHING:

I suggest you contact Dish TV about this and see if their team can solve this unusual issue for you. I have provided their contact details below for your reference if you need them.

Of course it could be just a faulty remote.
