Hi,

Are you up on a ridge, or in a valley? do you have a mast-head amplifier, and if so is the power-adapter still plugged in?

We are in a valley and don't have a Mast-head amplifier we haven't needed one, we have always had fantastic reception on all channels.  We still have all the other channels working.

Don't really see why I would have to go buy new equipment all of a sudden.

Yup agreed, just trying to get a full picture of your setup, and since the unplugged adapter has caught us out...thought it could be an option.

Other than some new obstacle in the path of your reception I am out of obvious suggestions.

What signal strength are you getting on each mux. You can check via manual tune in the TV menu. Sounds like your location is in a fringe area and something has slowly affected reception of one of the mux. Which Transmitter location is your antenna pointing at and have you confirmed the polarity is correct? Most are horizontal but some infill sites are vertical. You can check here

Caution though, the chart is not updated with the new frequency for the Prime mux. Ch37 Waiatarua and Ch36 the rest.

Signal strength is bad on TV1 & TV2 only about a 2, all the others are 4 and over.  Pain in the Butt.  Looks like I now have to  fork out more money just to watch the two main channels.  So much for freeview

Yeah looks like a diffent type of antenna or a masthead amp is needed. 4 is about the minimum for reliable reception. My son is in a valley at Glenfield and we found just moving the antenna about on the roof would make big differnces in strength from nil to about 8 depending on its location, height and direction.
