For the last week after work i have not i have lost signal till about 7 o clock when it seems to have cooled down. I am  assuming it's the tempeture as it has been hotter than usual this week...not entirely sure though. Anyone know how to fix this ?

More info would be helpful. Satellite, terrestrial, what equipment?

ah...satellite, transonic box

OK. Most likely the LNB is failing and drifting off frequency when hot in which case it needs replacing. Easy way to tell - spray it with the garden hose to cool it down and see if signal returns.

it has been cooler and drizzly all day today and have had no problems, how much is a new LNB

Reasonably cheap.

Check the frequency on the one you have now (probably 10750) and get one to match.

You may need the mounting clamp as well.

Changing the frequency in your setup by 5 or 10mhz may keep it going a little longer. As they die they drift off frequency particularly when hot.

Ok, thanks heaps for help
