Problem with recording TV programmes
I have a Hills Freeview set-top box (model HSMT-200A). I'm using a USB stick to record TV programmes (through EPG). My problem is, once the recording is set up the machine won't let me change channels to watch a different programme on another channel at the same time.

I think it's a single tuner model so you can't watch one channel and record another. I can't find a User Guide online to confirm.

Biggles I think you're right - only MyFreeview recorders have dual-tuners and can record one programme while watching another at the same time. Other USB PVRs can only record what you're watching. Christine, if you want to watch something different to what you're recording, it's probably best to go for MyFreeview: http://www.freeviewnz.tv/equipment-installation/approved-products.a...
