tried to replace the Strong unit with a "Dish TV " unit and hey presto no TV1 or TV2., ran blind scan, checked LNB settings, fitted my satellite meter to lnb and adjusted to maximum signal > 14db/s./n ratio, s = 80% q= 98% but still no TV1 or TV2 , plugged old Strong unit back in ....tv1 and 2 all there any ideas ? got me beat !…
gnal strength moved with the box. The picture is definitely "fuzzier' on the lower strength box on both TV's. I have a 90cm satellite dish and have had the alignment checked - all good, cables are RG6. Reset factory defaults and rescanned channels, no change. So it appears to be the box itself. Has anyone else had this issue? Also, What is the actual difference between the 'cheaper' and 'expensive' boxes on the market, or are you just paying for the "brand"? …
same 'reception'.
I'm wanting to confirm where the satbox or ?? is to blame.
I wondered if the trees on the horizon had grown, but signal strength seems good, ok & unchanged. I've tried all I can think of with the box - cycling the power when v. bad, sometimes 'helps' (maybe) sometimes doesn't.
DO I need to buy a new satbox? recommendations?
thanks.

apps I press the green button and get a message in the middle of the screen "Not Available". Sometimes it will let me in but more often than not I get this message. Am I missing something - surely it shouldn't be this bad? Our Wifi is right next to the tv and we have no issues watching Netflix at the times that the On Demand apps are not available.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.…
I connect to the TV the screen initially shows the channel name and number but then after 2 or 3 seconds says no signal. If I change the channel using the remote, it again shows the new channel name and number and then, after 2 or 3 seconds says no signal.
We are in a rented apartment and so don't have the obvious access to an aerial.
Does anyone have any ideas please?
Thanks…

der into the LNB input of the S7070 unit, I get no LED indications or signal level on the meter. I am sure the alignment is good. Am I missing something?. Does the HDMI cable have to be connected between S7070 and the TV HDMI input before the fine tuning can be done? I have not yet received the TV set so I havent been able to try the setup all the way through. Thanks. This is an excellent site.…
