We have an issue with our Sony Bravia in that the EPG shows Prime and Maori TV but we can't view it. Done manual and auto scan as well as factory reset. Does anyone have any idea what has gone wrong?
Hi - I'm trying to tune in my satellite receiver (I've not used it for a while), and can't remember the correct settings (it doesn't auto-tune), nor how to do it. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers
h reception of Group One channels (TV1, TV2, Maori, etc). Either picture freezing or even "No Signal" message comes up.Channels on other groups (TV3, Prime, etc) are fine. Retuned the set-top box and all channels are tuned to the correct settings, for example:Optus D1 12483MHz 22500sps H (for TV1, TV2, etc...).TV1 - Video PID = 0513 Audio PID = 0651Went up on roof and checked satellite dish for movement. It was very securely fastened so I dont think any wind or anything would have moved it.Does anybody have any ideas on what we can check or what may be causing this.PS: We found temporary workaround for TV2 via SKyTVs unscrambled broadcast of TV2 on 12672MHz. Couldnt find one for TV1 though.…
nd Satellite options are available, but I cannot get a signal or if I do it's so low it's not worth mentioning. It will not pick up any tv channels whatsoever. There was a sky decoder previously in the lounge but I have turned that service off and just used the same lead that went into the sky decoder and now plugged in into the tv.
I have one lead coming from outside into a splitter box and have 1 lead into my bedroom and the other to the tv in the lounge. I have tried all I can, swapping leads, disconnecting the splitter and going direct from the satellite dish to the tv but nothing works. I even plugged it into the UHF aerial socket on the back of the tv to no avail. I see most of the problems seem to occur because the satellite dish needs realinging but don't think this is the problem as my decoder works fine in the bedroom. ANy ideas? Thanks.…

le programme that you have recorded is now at an end. Quite a large box pops up (even when you are viewing a recorded programme) and you have to exit the box before it lets you continue watching your programme. Is this necessary as it's really annoying?? Alan Douglas said:
Thanks Joshua, that is very useful information and does excuse slow updates to the EPG, just slightly.
(In this day and age... 6 hours!!!! Who thought that was a good idea??)
It certainly still does not excuse most of what is going on.
I have also seen many 'one off' programs, like documentaries, loaded in the EPG as a series.
e.g. You are asked if you want to record the whole series when setting the program to record, although there is only one singe episode.
I am receiving Freeview off a satellite. Are there two separate EPGs, one for terrestrial and one for satellite, that the networks have to manage????? If so, perhaps they do not put much effort into maintaining the satellite EPG as there is only a small percentage of the population using it. All the effort may go into the SKY and Freeview terrestrial EPGs. Just a thought.

all the current Freeview channels. It is also preset for use with a standard Dish and LNB. (ie LNB Frequency 10750MHz)

3. Press EXIT, scroll left to YES and press OK, press EXIT twice more to return to the selected TV channel. You have finished.
