Are you on Satellite or UHF? . What area? What equipment? 

By the look of the problem i am guessing you are on satellite. So more than likely a problem with the dish. Doubt very much it is a freeview problem.

From her history, she has a Samsung UHF only TV so Freeview HD

Please describe fuzzy, what do you see?

All is now resolved thanks.  Apparently it was a Freeview problem which has now been fixed.  Thanks for all the help and advice.
