sky box

Hi, i have purchased a near new dish tv sat box thinking i could just connect to the sky dish on my flat. It comes up to check the cable or the dish. My question is, if it works perfectly well on sky, why wouldn't it work on my freeview box?

Change the LNB type to 10750 or 10745  it is probably set to 11300 at the moment.

LNB adjustment Page 12 of the  Manual.

Also check that the loop cable is connected correctly.

The usual reason is the parameters don't match what your SKY box has. Most likely incorrect LNB frequency.
