Hi
I watch digital TV with Satellite and it works fine generally except on Sundays. On every Sunday, it goes 'No Signal' on all channels for a while. Sometimes 30 min, sometimes 3 hours. And the back to normal again. I tired factory reset and many other stuff but nothing worked. It just cannot get signal on every Sunday afternoon. Any idea?
Thanks

Its best to replace the LNB as the weather may be affecting the use of the components.
Nothing else seems to be the cause.
Kind Regards
Joshua
Thanks guys. As I'm renting a flat, I will need to ask my land load but do you have any idea how much it will cost to replace the LNB?
Please confirm that it only happens on Sunday? similar time/day specific signal loss have been traced before to interferance from a washing machine (Sunday wash day). Another case involved neighbours regular weekend visitors parking a van/truck causing a temporary obstruction.
I checked it yesterday (Monday) and the same thing occurred after a few minutes. In the morning and evening, it's working ok so I believe it's because of the weather. As Mike said, it loose signal when it gets hot. My landlord says it should be fixed remotely by freeview. True??
No it does sound like you will need a new LNBF usually $35-$50
Not true.
You need a new LNB.
You could prove it by spraying with a hose to cool it down and see if the picture returns.
