I did a rescan today to as the above channels weren't displaying and the channels were empty.
After the rescan, these channels do not appear on the channel listing on either my Panasonic TV or Recorder. However, they are appearing on a cheap Veon TV (connected to the same aerial as the Recorder - the signal comes out of the recorder loop-through into the TV).
The TV is Panasonic Viera TH-P42U20Z
The Recorder is Panasonic DMR-XW380
Is there some reason why the Panasonics aren't scanning correctly? Or does anyone know how this could be fixed? Is there a way of doing a hard reset on Panasonics?

Oops. Should have said modulator on CH36, CH37 or nearby.
Thanks so much, as always, Biggles! I gave Denise a call yesterday and sounded like the UHF aerial component of her VHF/UHF combined aerial was actually broken (it was angled skywards) so your suggestion earlier probably is best. She has an installer she can call on so have recommended that she get him around to fix it...could be the result of a cat attack at some point.
In any case, thanks for all your help and I hope she's on the right path to getting it sorted now (if not sorted already).
Good to hear. Quite often the missing information can be very helpful.
Love the cat's resting place.
