If all your trying to do is power up the chromecast From the USB then yes you can.

If your trying to watch your chromecast it will need to be plugged into an HDMI socket on your TV

Hi Karleene 

You can use any USB port on the receiver to power a Chromecast up, just make sure you plug the HDMI part of the device into a spare HDMI port on the back of your TV. Remember your box will need to be on to turn on the Chromecast.
