Did not work for me ! What are the steps or should it just automatically update ? Or do I need to re install ?
The tv has it's own app of freeview on demand it's in the apps on my tv that's where I was able to see what version

I've had my tv turned off at the wall for 30mins again but still getting black screen. How do you find out what version of freeview you've got if you're looking at a black screen? Or are you talking about the software version of yr TV??
It’s working for me ! I just tried turning it on before coming on here and I didn’t do anything, nothing at all, no turning the tv off or unplugged no reinstall no nothing, it’s just working. I really hope it is for everyone else, and just try before going through the hassle of doing any of the above as it may be totally unnecessary. My thanks to the team at Freeview for working out what caused this, it must of been as frustrating for you guys as it was for us trying to get it figured out, so kudos ! Now I can go watch trashy reality tv again !
Btw I tried to post this much earlier this morning and the forum wasn’t updating, I sent a msg saying there was a bug, but I think it may of been as I had used an emoji in my post and the boards aren’t set up to take them, perhaps if this is the case there could be a way where the emoji will just not be displayed rather than not allow the entire message to be ?
Yep, mine is still out - nearly a month !!!!! I have sent 2 support request forms ...
Mine is still going alright, but I’m admittedly crossing my fingers every time that it will ! I feel so sorry for the rest of you that somethings still not fixed yet :(
