Aerialbox ultra T1050PVR HDD start-up issue (SOLVED)

we have a DishTV Aerialbox ultra T1050PVR

its ony a few weeks old

After a power cut, on start up, it says init for a long time

and going to media, it says it there too (far right)

eventually it errors and says do you want to format...

try that but it does not complete and produces another error

repeat...same thing...

the hard drive is corrupted...

is there another way of formating /resetting it?

Hi Brian

It looks like the hard drive has been damaged, you should return your product to place where you have purchased it from and get a replacement. or if you have purchased the product from us, then you will need to follow these steps on this page here (http://www.dishtv.co.nz/support/warranty-and-registration.htm) under "Warranty"
