Rescan on Zygo S2000

The following instructions are supplied by the manufacturer and extracted from the Dish TV website.

With some channels being transmitted on a Sky transponder, the Zygo S2000 may need a rescan to locate the transmission.

The steps to do this are as follows:

Press the menu button on the remote to bring up the main menu

  1. Select Setup and press OK
  2. Use the right arrow key to toggle to SYSTEM
  3. Enter the PIN code for the unit (the default is 0000)
  4. Press the UP arrow once on your remote and press OK on Restore Factory Default
  5. Select Reset setup to factory default and press OK

After the factory reset process has completed follow the onscreen prompts.

Once the scan process has completed you should have access to all channels again. In some cases this process will not correctly add PRIME, BRAVO plus 1 & THE EDGE TV, you will need to then manually enter the Transponder details for PRIME, BRAVO plus 1 & THE EDGE TV.

The steps to do this are as follows:

  1. Press the Menu button to bring up the main menu
  2. Select Setup and press OK
  3. Use the right arrow key to toggle to SYSTEM
  4. Enter the PIN code for the unit (the default is 0000)
  5. Select Add Manual Channels and press OK
  6. LNB Setup will appear, simply go to NEXT unless you know the LNB on your satellite dish, this is either 10750 or 11300.
  7. Key in the following on your remote 12519, check to see if the green and orange bars appear at the bottom of the screen,
  8. Press the Green Button to start scan.
  9. Press the EXIT button once the text in the black box on the right says scan completed or data service.

You should have BRAVO PLUS 1, PRIME, EDGE TV scanned in.
