I keep getting this message pop up when I turn on my Television (Samsung UA70KU6000SXNZ).

The TV is connected to the internet, and I have disconnected and reconnected several times to ensure it is.  YouTube works fine.

I assume is has something to do with Freeview+ / On Demand, rather than Samsung.

I can't close the box by selecting Close or Retry.. I can only close it by pressing Exit, and then the box pops up again after a minute or so.

Any ideas as to what is causing this?

This is incredibly frustrating..  can't watch tv unless I keep closing this box every minute.

Went onto Samsung Chat and it's not anything to do with them they say.  Would love to get this fixed!

Anyone from Freeview Support around?  I got an email a few days ago saying the issue was going to be forwarded to the "Tech Team", but heard nothing...

Just bought this new TV a few weeks ago, so was stoked that it had DVB-S and Freeview+, but if it's been stopped already, then that's just gutting.

Hi Hamish

I see samsung have an upgrade file on there website released 17.10.2016 , may help with your issue.

That was the first thing I checked too, but it didn't resolve it.

Hey what do you know... it's working today!

I,too, am having the same problem with my Samsung UA55KU6500 bought recently however I am using a UHF aerial. Have rung Samsung who remote checked the TV and reset it but it has made no difference. Samsung say its a Freeview server problem. I cannot get the on screen error message options (Close or Retry, or Return) functions to work, I have to Exit to clear the message which then sometimes comes back after a few minutes. Also sometimes I cannot access some channels such as Prime, Maori, Duke etc, I get a 'No Signal' error message, a few minutes later the channels are ok ? TV software is updated automatically. Where to now ??

It must just be an intermittent issue.

You can get rid of the pop up message by turning off HbbTV in the Broadcast/Setup menu.  Just turn it back on when you want to test out the Freeview+ service later on.

Is it still working and what may have fixed it ? See my comments above.

Yeah it's still working for me, but i'm on Satellite.

Tks I will try that; as I understand it all I'm doing is turning off Freeview +, EPG still works.
