more problems .

so, ive purchased another second hand freeveiw (dish s7070r ) a new lnbf unit and all new cable with fitting already madeup yet after re setting my dish at the prescribed angles and (im sure) following all instructions im still unable to get a signal. any advice please

just been and rechecked thing and tryed another scan , same results as before . Have tried both network and blind scans .no luck

Those prescribed angles you talk about are a guide only and should be used as a starting point. Unlike an aerial the dish needs to be firmly mounted and pointed with pin point accuracy at the correct satellite. Have you tried getting a professional in. They have all the knowledge and equipment to do the job properly.

u may have to check the lnb settings. check the one in the dish u brought something along the lines of 11300 or 10750 and change settings in the STB to match
