Service not collected during tuning

I've been trying to tune a DSE-7500 freeview box to add the new prime channel. I used the guide posted on these forums, but after factory resetting the box and following the steps, I get the message "service not collected" during the first tuning step. Then it just takes me to a blank screen saying service not available. The box has now lost all the channels, and I can't get them back. I have tried the "what to do if things go wrong" guide, but it doesn't apply in my case. I can no longer update the firmware over the air because the box can no longer see the satellite.

What can I do?

It sounds like the LNB frequency that you set in your receiver might not match the LNB frequency in your dish. Try 11300 MHz if you have 10750 MHz set and vice-versa if the other way.

I rotated through the available LNB frequencies, and LNB 2 is the only one that doesn't display a flatline 0%. However, LNB 2 cycles between 100% and 0% very quickly, and with no other values. Prior to me messing with the box, it displayed all the channels fine, except of course, for Prime.

on the LNB 2 make sure the 22 kHZ is Off , if you are using an old sky dish.

It is off. Low Freq and high freq are both set to 10750

Try to change the LNB frequency to 11300MHz and then try to tune the channels. It does sound like this might be the cause.

Is that on the edit satellite screen? Because it won't let me edit the freq values. The edit box just skips those lines.

Select the 15th LNB which is editable and try 10745 low 10745 High.

or try 11300 low 11300 High as mike has said above

Using the 15LNB set to the above settings I have managed to get all the lost channels back, including tv1 and two, which apparently haven't been working for over a year. I tried to see if I could continue further on the add Prime guide, but again quickly ran into trouble.

So, I'm going to quit while I'm ahead, and not bother with trying to get Prime. The mother in law is happy with this :)
