Hi Charlene 

The Edge is not a Freeview Channel however it is carried on SKY Free to Satellite users, 
Perhaps the receiver completed an update or channels reshuffled which may have lost The Edge.

It is still available, are you familiar in adding Frequencies (TP) to the Optus D1 satellite via the units menu? 

If you don't let me know and I will add a step by step on how to add The Edge on the Hills Unit,

Hi thanks for quick reply. I was tuning in the edge on Optus d2 the other channels ( c4 and trackside) still show up. The edge shows up as being found as well but I just couldn't listen to it :( if you could give me a run through how to try and get it back that would be great thanks

Ah you may be listening to the Optus D1 signals that are renamed to Optus D2 on your box for some reason. 

Are you toggling between radio and TV channels? The Edge is on the Radio stream and if it still pops up then it will still work. 

If you know how to add TP's (Transponder Frequencies) then you can see the below information 

TP Frequency: 12267

Symbol Rate (SR): 22500

If you don't know how to add frequencies then this may help you: But just follow the instructions with these frequencies (Not Primes as shown)

Hi Sorry i haven't figured this out yet. I tried adding new TP and it showed finding The Edge in its scan but when I switch to radio on the remote it still doesn't give me the option of The Edge as a channel. I can toggle between tv and radio but only 4 radio stations are playing. I'm thinking maybe kids accidentally changed something in settings??? and no-one wants to Own up

The Edge

TP Frequency: 12581

Symbol Rate (SR): 22500

Works on DishTv S7070R

I just tried the 12581 on Optus d1 and add it was scanning it was picking up Gaius of different channels including the edge but when it finished still no actual channel that I could go to. Same on Optus d2 it found the edge but after it finishes scanning there is no option to go to the channel. Maybe i need a new Freeview? Do you have any more ideas?

Are you selecting FTA (free to air) when scanning ?

When scanning select only the 12581 frequency.

Check your firmware version , should be V1.23.

Hi yes I scan the fta channels I tried scanning all before and it gave me a whole lot of locked channels. My hw version is v1.0 and current sw version is v1.23. I'm not sure what you mean by selecting only the 12581 frequency.

You are able to choose which Tp you wish to scan , part way down the scanning window you will most likely see 12456 or 12483, you can select this and change it to 12581 , then scan

Do you have Prime trackside and C4 ?

I assume you have done a Factory Reset?
