Technical difficulties - picture and sound freezing on and off

Hi, I've been having difficulties for the last couple of days with the picture freezing and sound being disrupted. I'm on the South Coast in Wellington and another person in Upper Hutt is having the same problem but is unable to post on here. We are satellite users.

Hi Shelley, please see reponse to your other comment on another discussion thread here: http://freeviewforum.co.nz/forum/topics/reception-issues-in-dunedin... - likely to be LNB / dish issues causing reception problems - your dish and Rodney's dish may be on the cusp of normal reception, but when there're changes in temperature or weather conditions, your reception gets affected. Best to consult an installer who can check your dish for you - especially if it's a 5+ years old, close to the water LNBs can get damaged and become faulty in 2-3 years due to constant exposure to salt water.

Oh and just to reinforce that that there was no transmission or any wider issues, not only did I check with the transmission provider but also sort some independent verification from other satellite viewers on the forum, who's had no issues over the last few days.
