'strong' freeview box

i have a strong freeview box and notice my picture seems to have some lagging . the antenna man reckons i might need to get a software update.    any thoughts

its kind of like the picture blurs when the character or object moves... mainly effects sports ...  a bitlike how car headlights leave a trace at night

More likely a problem of having a cheap TV or watching substandard transmissions like that of Sommet Sports.
