Hi,
Did you use to receive these channels OK and it has now stopped working, or you cant tune into these channels for a new install?
Yup - had all these channels clearly. Have followed all instructions on here and have also spoken to my building manager (I am in an apartment block) as suggested by Freeview and there is no issue at their end. I have disconnected, reconnected, switched off at wall and have auto and manually tuned but have lost these channels. All other channels as before.
I don't seem to be alone in this but Freeview can't offer an answer
Well it's not a Freeview problem but obviously something to do with the distribution system in your building. Check with your neighbours and see if they suffer the same problem and perhaps get your building manager to sort out the problem.
Yup - as above. Been told by building manager that there is no issue their end. Neighbours have no issue
Sounds like it is local to your equipment then...can you borrow or try a neighbors set-top box in your apartment?
I'd rather not to be honest. Not the kind of neighbours who would lend anything to anyone. Other neighbours have built in. Is there no other fix?
OK
I'd turn off everything except the TV and then do a rescan and see if that fixes it. Maybe interferece from somewhere affecting CH36 or 37 (depending on which one you are tuning). Could be a Sky or VCR modulator somewhere nearby on that frequency although I would think that would affect neighbours too. What signal strength do you have on the channels you do receive? Check all connections. Sometimes the antenna cable from wall socket to TV can be bad. I've had some in the past that wouldn't work at all,
See Network Status page for updates.
