Just ended with sky after six month period, everthing was working fine with sky. When we connected with skiy, a new center core on the dish was replaced.

Tried to reconnect my "freeview dishtv s7070" receiver back into TV as now no longer using sky.

All connects good with all graphics/channels showing onto tv,  but "no signal strength" indicated, run searches/ reload- no effect.

Tried another freeview box....same- "no signal."

Any ideas ?

I noted in set up tips on this freeview site - might need to remove something from dish ? not sure on what was meant (some cover ?)

Any help would be appreciated, ( got rid of sky to save money}

Check your LNB frequency in the Menu. 10750  is normal for Sky dishes. As Sky was working OK don't touch anything on the Dish. The problem has to be at the STB end. Check Co-ax is screwed in firmly and in the correct socket. I also got rid of sky recently and yesterday installed a K1 Plus Sat/UHF/Media Player box (Android TV Box). All I had to do was plug in the Coax, select the correct LNB type, enter the correct LNB frequency, make sure polarity was correct (actually auto in this box) and then do a scan. It collected 146 channels no problem. Just got to delete the scrambled Sky ones now. Had I done a FTA only scan it wouldn't have collected only the Freeview channels. I only did a blind scan as I wanted to see just what channels it would receive.

Sorted ,Thanks- as soon as i reprogramed to 10750, i got hopefully all channels, not sure if i got them all, pretty impressed sorting as not a super tech myself. ....interesting with your 146 channels.....is that through your computer...?  Thanks again!

dont seem to have all channels,  somewhere on website I saw a different frequency to log into...?? might help me with getting all channels..

Resources Tab at top of this page. Look for Tuning Prime, Edge etc.

The 146 channels was on the Android TV Box Sat Tuner. All the Sky channels plus HD channels plus Freeview.
