reception

hi,l seem to have to wait until around 8pm untll i can get all the freeview channels. Up until that time i can always get prime and sometimes the channel the box is set on when i first turn on. IF l try to switch to another channel it also disappears . All channels display! NO RECEPTION CHECK CABLES AND DISH, Later in the evening all channels suddenly work perfectly.

Presumably you have a Satellite box? Can't find your profile info to check.

If so sounds like the LNB is drifting off frequency with age and needs replacing.

Try cooling it off with the garden hose and see if the channels come back. That will confirm freq drift and it can sometimes be corrected temporarily (til you replace the LNB) by adjusting the LNB freq up or down 5 - 10 mhz in your setup menu.
