Hello,

I have had a Dish tv 7070r for three and a half years now and it has worked well, but in the last few weeks something odd has been happening. When the library is accessed for the first time after the tv has been turned off overnight a message appears saying "device removed safely" and it reboots. It used to do this occasionally, but now it happens all the time.

A few days ago something else started happening - recorded programs are not being saved. Sometimes a program set to record using the timer will not record at all, and sometimes it will record and appear in the library, but then will have vanished, without being deleted, the next time the library is accessed. This doesn't happen all the time - sometimes programs are saved and sometimes they just disappear. Turning the unit off and then on again has no effect, and there is plenty of memory left.

Two other unusual things have happened recently that may be related - the system freezes for about a minute when the "record" button is pushed, and sometimes, but not always, I can't watch a recorded program while something new is being recorded.

Does anyone know what is happening here?
