Living in Torbay, Auckland, Prime TV (FreeView) reception is bad, too hard to watch due to screens pixilating and sometimes freezing.
I checked antenna and cables, all ok, no corrosion.
Any suggestions? I like to fine tune but cannot find the exact frequency of Free View Prime TV.
Otherwise a stronger signal amplifier? Any help and suggestion are welcome. Thanks, Gerard

You'll find a link for Freeview frequencies under the resources Tab above, (DTT Spectrum Plan) though the website seems to be offline at the moment.
Thanks for replying.
Channel 36 / 594 MHz show 10/10 signal strength but 4/10 to 6/10 signal quality. Only Prime TV is effected and we are not able to watch it without falling over the 'cliff edge'.
We do not have direct 'line of sight' with the aerial in Murrays bay as we are behind a 'hill'. (Emlyn Place)
Our aerial is positioned in the correct horizontal direction, but should it be placed under and angle upwards, facing uphill? Unfortunate the pole does not allow fitting under an angle upwards, so I cannot try it without buying another pole. Any suggestions? Do UHF waves follow the shape of hills?
UHF signal does not follow any hills. UHF signals are line of site. Contact an antenna installer who has a spectrum analyser and can align best possible.
Thanks Ross
