What sort of amplifier are you using? In Christchurch you shouldn't need one unless in a really bad signal area.

It is one for all from warehouse,,, it was too bad before can't even watch anything,,,freeview is Crystal clear now. But still missing channels,

I'm living in woolston chch,, I tried indoor antenna from duck Smith, it didn't worked at all,

missing uhf ch 28 and 32 = poor bottom end aerial gain

could try lifting or lowering the aerial 1/2 m

Check your antenna, connections and cables. In Woolston you shouldn't need an amplifier as you should be able to see the Transmitter Tower from your house. And anything other than a Masthead amp is next to useless anyway. A weak signal needs to be amplified at the antenna, not the TV end of the coax. At the TV end it amplifies noise as well as signal.

Are you sure your antenna is UHF and mounted horizontal?

Amplifier is working great signal quality is great but not getting all channels,,yup antenna is uhf and mounted horizontal,

I will try but I'm scared I will lost other channels lol,

Hi Sabrina,

If you gain UHF 28 and 32 then you shouldn't have any issues loosing the already tuned in channels , try making adjustments and take note of the position each time.

Have you tried without the amplifier? It's possible you may be getting too much signal and overloading the tuner.

seems most of woolston is behind a 287m hill
