no signal - no service since after friday 13 May but could of been late thursday - new plymouth

Hi can anyone tell me why my freeview has dropped off since then - no warning but it wasn't worked since friday 13th. keeps saying No channels found - Please check aerial or local signal availability -  press ok to auto tune - which doesn't find anything

I have unplugged etc and followed various fixes found online - but have just spoken to a neighbour who had the same thing happen to hers on thursday night but it came back on again friday for no reason.

I haven't been on the roof (too chicken to go up the ladder) but wonder is there anything else i can try as it seems to be a config issue - it is a Panasonic with built in freeview and a booster plugged for the reception - no warning anything was wrong at any stage just went off - has anything change in the reception etc - manual tuning just gives the green line for some or yellow or red 21-69

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Audrey

When you say a booster, do you mean a masthead amp? If so it sounds like it's power supply has died.
