I can get Edge TV and Four+1 but can no longer get Prime.
I have changed the TP frequency to 12519, Symbol Rate 22500 on Polarity H with Satellite Optus D1 160E but when I search free to air channels it says there are none found.
Any ideas on what I should do please?

Did you use one of the guides available here to add / scan for the new prime ?

FYI The edge & Four +1 don't have the upgrade now message.
So you probably don't have any of the new frequency's.
Yes I read through the discussion on what to do and did as it said. It has signal intensity of 76% but the signal quality is only 0-1% An I supposed to change any other settings at all? The LNB frequency is 11300
Which guide are you following and do the screens look the same ?
I looked at the guide for Digitview. The screen shots from this guide are actually from my tv taken a few years ago when I was having problems back then.
I have no idea now, why I can't pick up Prime as I followed the instructions exactly. I have no signal quality at all which I know I need in order for it to pick up any channels. Is it something to do with my LNB? I think that is the only other thing I can change. Thanks
Hi Rachelle , can you see what levels and quality show when you go to one of the working TP frequencies ie 12456 - this may give you an ideal of what is going on
The signal quality is fine on TP 12456 and the others needed for the other tv channels. Also those with the same symbol rate of 22500.
It just has no signal quality on a TP of 12519. Could prime be registering on a different TP frequency because it's not an approved box? Are there any other TP frequencies that I can try instead?
Very odd, does it mention horz, or vert or 18volts or 13volts on the 12456Mhz (that is already working)
I'm at work at the moment but will have a look when I get home and let you know. thanks
Randomly managed to get Prime working but on a different TP frequency.
Had to use TP 13085 with a symbol rate of 22500.
Thanks anyway for your help! :-)
Ok, your LNB setting in the receiver is not correct so 13085 - 12519 = 566Mhz - this is the approx difference between the 2 common LNB local oscillator frequencies used , not a biggy but it means that all of your signals don't appear to be on the correct frequencies
Okay would that explain why I can't use a freeview approved box to watch terrestrial tv then? I actually bought a Dish freeview satellite box but can't get it to work at all which is why I'm using this non approved one.
I would prefer to use the Dish one if possible as it gives times etc.. rather than just the channel.
Thanks
The current setup you have is satellite only , you would require a terrestrial aerial if the DTT service is available where you live, re the Dish TV SAT box - it should work , if it is fairly new it will also compensate for another issue of LNB frequency drift which is fairly common on one of the LNB's Sky was using some years back , it may all come down to an issue with the dish , you should be able to contact a local satellite chap for advise - cheers Robert
