TH-55GX740Z Panasonic LED LCD TV

Have the above TV. (NEW)

When watching Freeview only on channels 1 & 2.

I get a random black screen, says "No Service". (More on Sunday nights)

Switching between 1 & 2 will have the same message.

Not a reception problem, signal strength and quality is 10/10.

I even added a filter to remove unwanted aerial noise. (VHF/Cell Phone etc)

(If you pull the aerial cable, it will say "No Signal").

No help from Panasonic here.

My only easy fix is to change channel to TV3.

Then switching back to 1 or 2 they will be working again.

Software glich?

Any ideas?

Regards Mark.

Faulty connections and/or bad cabling.

Hi.

There are 2 messages... They are different.

No Signal & No Service.

Pull the aerial cable = No Signal.

I get the other one = No Service. (Aerial cable connected)

Weird I know.... its random.

Sri. Thought you meant pull on the cable but I guess you meant unplug it? Weird. Sounds like could be interference. Is the quality constant or does it drop when 'no service' appears?

Yeah its like it crashes, reads nothing.  Remembers, wont refresh.

In that state, Signal & Quality is Zero

Change channel to TV3 and back fixes it.

Or turn the unit off and on....

Not reliable for a new TV.

Will try the old Rabbit Ears... then is is a single isolated aerial, see what happens.
